Want to use your skills to promote the town and our area?

Discover Dursley is a volunteer, community driven website that aims to promote and showcase everything the town has to offer for residents and visitors. We are looking for passionate people to join our editorial team to curate, publish and promote content on the website and social media channels (currently Facebook and Instagram).

The social media editors will select from the library of content on the site (articles, blogs, interviews, events, and more) and decide how best to promote and distribute that through social media channels.

If you have experience of social media marketing – fabulous! We’d love to learn from you how to increase our reach.

But if you don’t, no problem! This would be a great opportunity for you to learn how to promote content using social media. All you need is a passion for this area and a desire to help showcase it to the wider world.

This is a volunteer role, and likely to be around 3-4 hours a month. You will appear on our credits page, so you can add it to your CV if you wish. In addition, we can provide references for you to future employers about your contributions to the success of out site.
