Drawn to Dursley, a free plein air art competition taking place in Dursley on Saturday 19th September.
Children and adults are warmly invited to take part. Here are the details:
Registration: 10am, Dursley Town Hall
Drawing time: entrants create their piece outdoors around the town during the day
Submission deadline: 2pm, completed pieces handed in at the Town Hall
Medium: drawing, painting, collage or photograph
Judging: a panel including the Mayor will select a winner in each age category
Age categories: 5 to 11, 12 to 16, and adults
Prize: each category winner will have their work professionally framed and displayed at Kingshill House during the Tyndale Arts Trail exhibition, 3rd and 4th October
Dursley Methodist Church will be open for coffee and cake on Saturday 19th September in connection with Drawn to Dursley. Artists are invited to come and find a quiet, comfortable place to create. Anyone is welcome to come and enjoy the coffee and cake.
